Dear ORange,
it has been yet another sleepless night for me. BED BUGS!! Its really scaring the wits out of me!! Imagine how it feels to get into bed and start visualing the numerous brown little pests creeping at the darkest corner of the wooden frame. It totally spoils my sleeping mood! And whats worst to come is when it starts attacking you. You wake up in the morning finding your whole body covered with little red spots, someetimes even large red patches of bug bites. Thats how vicious the bugs can be!! DAMN ITCHY!!
Its not as if I am a dirty wild pig who attracts all the most disgusting things in the world! Where did these bugs come from!! HELP!!!=(((((((((((((
Alright..enough of these unhappy stuff.
So Monday dawn, i was browsing the net and happened to chance upon a website of cancer blogs. My next instinct was to read through every single entry these cancer patients posted. Their stories deeply touched my heart. Furthermore, they have like a support network for each of the blogger. After every post, the supporters(other cancer patients) will give their comments, comfort, encouragement etc. I am greatly moved by how complete strangers can establish such unique bonds through such extraordinary means.
After i read the entire cancer journey of this particular 20year old girl who passed on about 2 years after she was diagnosed, I came to realise how fortunate I am. At least I only need surgeries, not chemo nor radiation. At least I still have my not-so-pretty hair haha. At least i still have a whole load of time to fufil all my dreams when she, was deprived even of the most fundamental human right, to grow up as a woman and be a mother of 2 kids. Its really depressing to read about her death, but yet on a lighter note, i must say that she was a really inspiring writer. Her optimism and her strong fighting spirit, even after she was sent to a hospice, even after she is clearly aware of her imminent death, has indeed influenced many around her!
Yep! I need to be stronger. As strong as she is. This is what life is about isn't it? We are presented with many obstacles along the way and the only way to strengthen ourselves both mentally and physically is to tackle and overcome these barriers. Just like how a raw and unattractive stone can be polished into a shiny and expensive gem through hardwork, we humans need to constantly work to improve ourselves.
This is adapted from one of the entries:

To sum up this post, I hope that all you people out there will..

this week has been super stressful! Math is killing me. My econs totally cannot make it. Im so retarded in chem. Oh no..im so dead.
I bet lots of people received that stupid message about terrorism in bugis. Dont worry its a hoax. Nth happened because og21 was there and everyones back home safely! Steamboat at "tian tian huo guo" is really enjoyable!=D I really laughed my guts out..so did e others! E most jing dian ren wu is Lin Yao!! Hhaha..first he really eats nonstop. Second, the way he speak is is hilarious! Hhahahha!! And i realised we've got a few girls with v infectious laughter. Matilda, Meichi and Kah Yee!!=D Ok..so we were all kept very entertained throughout the night!

Dear Orange,
it has been a busy week last year. From trying really hard to catch up with schoolwork..to supplementary lessons, geog test..making valentines day card..
Friday
V day celebrations in school is not as fun as when i was in acjc, but well overall it is not bad la...with edwyna at the interact booth bursting almost every single balloon shes trying to fill with helium gas. Hahah..i must really emphasise my fear of sudden loud noises! The whole time i had my hands covering my ears then whenever one ballon burst il scream as loud.=(
I wanna thank firstly my class guys for being so sweet! They bought each of the girl in class in red rose each(from mini toons i think). And they gave each of us a personalised badge. Mine really describes me v well. I will say whatever that comes across my mind. In other words, v direct, never think b4 i say, cannot hide my whatever im thinking about at all.Hahah thanks ah guys!
Next, i love e cute post-its sheryl and ber gave me. Hahha..u all know me so well=) And ying's cookies! The way she packaged our presents is damn pretty and attractive can! Ying, if u open a shop selling hand made accessories il surely go and support de!The cookies ross made is delicious!
All in all, i would like to thank everyone who made my v day celebrations so enjoyable!=D
Well..so when i got home, i passed dad a red rose which he gave to mum as v day present. Hahha..my mum was really elated when she saw it.. haha all thanks to me ah dad..how shld u repay me! Hahha..and my mum thinking that its really a gift my dad bought really took care of the rose v weell haha..what use cotton wool, water and toilet roll( to supposrt the stem). AW!
And the best gift iv received is a li shang wang lai gift from my best laughing partner. Hahha.. his handicraft is really too good for a guy la..Thanks for the pop up card!! Really nice!!
Ok..and my sister's v day gift from her bf! Blue roses! COOL RIGHT!
Saturday
V day is spent with my family. went to new york skin care coz my mum say theres a free trial. Was quite a devastating day for all of us. Wont elaborate y. So i had free facial which was damn painful. I swear il never go back again. Dont understand y e tai tais say tht facial is for relaxation. They're totally mad. Watched a night movie on channel U. The ending is really v "fa ren shen xing". So love isnt tht simple afterall. Love is blind.Often, u can never see who really loves u and who are deceiving u. The world of love is always so contradictory and not for innocent ppl like me haha! FULLSTOP.

Mugging at je lib with jq n ly. Didnt do much. Was chatting most of the time. Got told off by this indian guy sitting beside us somemore!=(
My dad's a nice guy! He brought me homecooked fan cai and tang for my lunch.
Monday
Alot of shocking events actually happened over the weekends! I am totally overwhelmed!!
Oh i came across a very interesting book on psychology at je lib. It says:
"Overall, more than two thirds of the emotions experienced in dreams are negative--involving fear, anxiety sadness, guilt."
Very true for me! So b4 i say "sweet dreams" to others, i really shld think twice.

Dear Orange,
the past week have been absolutely the best in 2009. I enjoyed Orientation 2009 so so much! All thanks to my fellow OGLS: Kahy yee, matilda, yuxi and sean! And not to forget my belovet kids from OG21!!
I think our OG totally rock!!
I'll never forget the fun moments we had at the station games, the external hunt, show down and last but not least, dance party! Its really great to know u ppl! It was really fun cracking jokes, cheering n playing with u guys. Well..we did lots of lame things..like playing black magic on the mrt..playing "i never" and getting all excited.
Haii..theres too much to say. Okay..i just summarise.
I LOVE OG21!
Oh and i would like to thank all my kids for the card!! So touched..you guys are fantastic!=D
Saturday
Went to my neighbour's malay wedding in the afternn after which me, my mum and dad proceeded to the temple to give offerings. There was e statues of the 12 animals outside the temple and my retarded dad mistook the dog and goat for the ox!! Hahha..i laughed like mad!
At ard 5plus, bused down to jp to join ly and jq. Its Jq's bdae! So we decided to bring her to the "icing room" for her to decorate her own bdae cake. Hahha! It was afun experience!! And the cake tasted good! The final product was not too bad i think=)
We ate dinner at long john then went home.
Played mahjong with my family when i reached home. Hhaha! Super funny!

Went clementi meet JQ first thing in the morning. Hhaha we were sitting in subway at the new mall when this boyboy started using an imaginary gun to shoot me. He was like "BANG BANG BANG!" Okay..so i played with him..v entertaining!!=D
Met Aloysious in the afternn at woodlands. Thanks for teaching me econs!
Went home slept for 3 hrs.

AT MRS LEE'S HOUSE=D
Dear Orange,
this was a rather busy weekend for me! Spent three quarter of my time mugging and one-quarter of it on outings. Hai..no choice..next week is orientation! Im gonna miss lots of lessons ..yea so must start doing my tutorials first!
Alright.
Anyway, yesterday was as lirui mentioned, "a once in a lifetime experience?" haha. Went Mrs lee's house to bai nian.OMG Nicholas shoot alot within the past year! Okay anywae, mrs lee's football table was damn fun! We all took turns to hog over it for the whole of our stay there=D
Well...Mrs Lee's didnt change much..same hairstyle, e same look on her face..now i think she's v motherly! Kept forcing us to eat her new year goodies which was damn delicious! Hahah! Although it sounds abit crazy, I miss secondary school's physics lessons with her!
Me, EN and emily left early. EN brought me to ten miles lrt station. Damn cool! Got aircon there!
Sunday
Went library mug with Linyan today. It was quite effective..haha at least i completed half the amount of work i aimed to do=P
Went home in the evening, then headed to chinese garden for a jog. Hahha..dunno y today got alot of energy! Didnt felt tired at all. Maybe coz it was very windy=D Chinese garden was quite crowded today. Anyway i went to my usual spot to take a break. Hahha! Then i saw the same uncle feeding the fishes and turtles bread! In fact there were 2 of them today!=D And the uncle gave me one big piece of bread to feed them!=D I chatted abit with the uncles while enjoying the comfort of mother nature. Hahha..so.maybe i shall go come down every sunday 5.30pm to feed the turtles with e uncle! Anyone else interested can join! But uncle says only children will get free bread for feeding( haha he considered me one!) Meaning i look v young!
